The David Fraser Radiology Research Foundation is a Nova Scotian charitable organization funded solely from private and corporate donations. The principal goal of the Foundation is to develop research activities in medically related fields with emphasis on application to the broad field of radiology in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University.

“This project has allowed me to work at the intersection of two rapidly developing fields: brain tumor biology and radiomics. Not only did I have the opportunity to investigate a question that is of clinical interest to me in a supportive and rich learning environment, but I was able to develop my research skills and gain exposure to and experience in radiology. I am so grateful for this experience, for the support of my mentor Dr. Schmidt, and for the ways in which I've been able to explore and deepen my interest in neuroradiology.”
